LCHS Falls to Viewpoint, CVHS

The La Cañada High School varsity boys’ lacrosse team lost to visiting Viewpoint High of Calabasas, 12-4, in a Gold Coast League game last Tuesday.
Junior Keshav Fernando recorded two goals and three ground balls while senior Jake Jewell produced two goals and one ground ball. Junior Dylan Jeffries tallied two shots on goal and one ground ball, sophomore Conor Roehmholdt finished with one shot on goal and three ground balls, and junior Mac Reese registered one shot on goal and one ground ball.
Sophomore River Wokosin collected three ground balls, senior Jacob Butier and sophomore Finn Valderhaug each had two ground balls, and senior Kyle McKinney, junior Thomas Sorensen, junior Peter Tripathi, sophomore Tristan Connolly, sophomore Spencer Turner and freshman Everett Hernandez each had one ground ball.
The Spartans previously lost a league game against visiting Crescenta Valley High of La Crescenta, 15-4.
LCHS (3-9 overall, 1-6 in league) will visit Village Christian High in Sun Valley for a league game on Friday, March 31, at 4:30 p.m. before hosting Glendale on April 11.

ST. FRANCIS

The Golden Knights recently picked up a pair of home wins against Chaminade High of West Hills, 17-5, and Yorba Linda, 16-7. Individual statistics were not reported to the Outlook Valley Sun.
SFHS (5-6 overall, 2-2 in league) will visit St. Francis High of Mountain View for a nonleague game on Friday, March 31, at 6 p.m.
