LCPC Celebrates Easter

On Easter Sunday, La Cañada Presbyterian Church is offering four worship services to celebrate Jesus’ resurrection. Senior Pastor Ross Purdy will begin a sermon series on “Living in Light of the Resurrection.”
An Easter Sunrise Service will be offered at 6:30 a.m. at Memorial Park at 1301 Foothill Blvd. Traditional worship services will be held at 8 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. in the sanctuary, and at 11 a.m. Contemporary worship will be in the Worship Arts Center on LCPC campus at 626 Foothill Blvd. Family-friendly overflow with tables, refreshments and children’s activity bulletins will be available for the 9:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. services in LCPC’s Fellowship Hall. All services held on LCPC campus will also be livestreamed at live.lacanadapc.org.
Children, 6th-grade and younger, are invited to participate in an Easter egg hunt after the 9:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. services. The egg hunt will happen in separate spaces for little kids and big kids, and all participants will get a goody bag filled with candy and prizes to take home.
This Easter season, LCPC is also offering weekend retreats for women and men. These retreats are designed for fun and fellowship as well as an opportunity to learn more about what it means to be followers of Jesus. Registration is open until April 10 for this year’s Women’s Retreat, scheduled for April 28-30 in San Pedro Harbor. Registering for the Men’s Retreat, set for May 5-7 at a golf club in Oxnard, is possible until April 20.
The community is welcomed and invited to register to attend these retreats as well. For more information and links to registration, visit lacanadapc.org/programs/adults/retreat.
