LCUSD Permit Application Window Closes April 28

Families who wish to enroll their children into LCUSD public schools but who are not residents within the LCUSD boundary area must submit a permit application by the April 28 deadline.
Acceptance by LCUSD is not guaranteed, however, La Cañada Flintridge residents who live in the western portion of the city (“Sagebrush”) are given a priority. This will be the only time to apply for the upcoming 2023-24 school year.
LCUSD permits are approved based on availability of space at the various grade levels. The district will notify families of their permit status during the summer. La Cañada residents assigned to Glendale Unified School District would also need to apply for a release from GUSD, should they be accepted to attend LCUSD schools. Families only need to apply for a GUSD release after they have been officially notified of acceptance of the permit request by LCUSD.
A permit application can be downloaded from the district website, or by contacting the registrar at (818) 949-4706 or raugustus@lcusd.net
