Paradise Canyon Elementary School recently celebrated Earth Week by wearing colors to school each day to represent the sun, sky, trees and clean air.
At lunchtime, students had special guests, including beautiful parrots and macaws from Fine Feathered Friends, as well as bugs, insects and reptiles from Luke’s Bug and Reptile Experience.
Students learned about their new animal friends, and at the end of the week, they planted pollinator seeds in the school gardens.
The Earth Week events were chaired by parents Leslie Hydahl and Erin Ruffalo.
