The La Cañada Congregational Church is accepting submissions of visual art, poetry and ceramic art for the church’s 2nd Annual Creative Arts Scholarship Awards on the theme of “Pride and Joy: A Celebration of Community Diversity.” Area high school and college students are eligible for an award of $500 in each category, and students in grades 7 and 8 are eligible for the “Emerging Artist Award” of $100 in each category.
The deadline for submissions is May 12. Winning work will be featured at the 2nd LCCC Arts Festival and Concert on June 4. Visit lacanadachurch.com for details and entry instructions.
