The Kiwanis Club of La Cañada recently hosted its 75th annual celebratory luncheon to honor the 2022 La Cañadan of the Year, Sheri Morton.
President Trish McRae welcomed guests to the event, which was emceed by Barbara Marshall. Rev. Chuck Osburn, associate pastor of La Cañada Presbyterian Church.
The luncheon featured tributes given by Morton’s longtime friends Sally Buckley, Eryn Selzer, Joann Merrick and Gigi Schlueter. Awards were presented by dignitaries and McRae.
The club capped the program off with “Hail Kiwanis,” with Vice President Alice Perez leading attendees in song.
