The city will be hosting its 2023 Spring Clean-Up event, where waste haulers will collect bulky items placed at the curb, free of charge, on the week of May 15 during the homeowner’s regularly scheduled pick-up day.
For items that are still usable, residents are encouraged to consider donating them to a local thrift store or charity. Bulky waste items include chairs, sofas, mattresses, carpet and rugs (tied up in rolls), appliances, electric equipment, clothing and tires. Loose items should be boxed, bundled or placed in a bag, so that they can be easily handled.
