The YMCA of the Foothills invites friends, families and neighbors of all ages to take part in this year’s festive Fiesta Days Run — presented by USC Verdugo Hills Hospital — on Monday, May 29, on Memorial Day
For the 48th year, the event will support the YMCA of the Foothills’ scholarship funds for campers, program participants and members with a special 1 Mile Family Fun Run or 5K and 10K walk/run.
Proceeds will directly impact underserved kids, families, and seniors in the community, giving them the opportunity to participate in the Y’s programs.
The routes for this year’s Fiesta Days Run will begin at Descanso Gardens. Participants will make their way through various streets in La Cañada Flintridge, being cheered on by Y volunteers at water stations along the course before returning to the finish line at Descanso Gardens. There, participants will receive their official finishing times as well as their medals for completing the race. Families and strollers are welcome.
