Thursday Club Hosts Scholarship Tea

The La Cañada Thursday Club awarded scholarships to 12 local high school seniors at the annual Scholarship Tea on Sunday. All of the students have made their college selections and held the banners of their future schools. Each student gave a short speech about his or her community service experiences and future plans in college.
Brian Elerding, the executive Director of the Lineage Performing Arts Center and actor, writer and director, addressed the recipients and audience. He spoke about finding your mission in life and applying your mission to different aspects of life.
