Young botanists and entomologists in the Assistance League of Flintridge’s bugs, buds and botany summer school class recently enjoyed getting up close and personal with nature.
Students studied different bugs, read stories about them and their habitat, as well as made colorful drawings inspired by them.
They also crafted their own bug catchers to take home to continue their studies.
