Flintridge Prep Takes Down La Cañada

The La Cañada High School varsity boys’ water polo team lost to visiting Flintridge Prep 18-8 in a nonleague game last Friday.
Spartans junior Alexander Abramian, freshman Arshan Soltanzadeh and freshman Landon Karlich each scored twice while senior Ian Wipfli and junior Tait Landswick each added one goal.
The Spartans previously lost a nonleague game to visiting Burroughs High of Burbank 17-3. Wipfli tallied two goals, while Landswick had one goal.
LCHS (2-6 overall) will host Muir High of Pasadena in a nonleague game on Thursday at 3:30 p.m. before hosting La Salle College Preparatory of Pasadena on Sept. 12.

Flintridge Prep goalie Aram Kedeshian recorded five saves to help the Wolves beat La Cañada in a nonleague game last week

Charlie Simonian, Carter Morrell and Ridley Tolleson each contributed four goals in the Wolves’ 18-8 win over La Cañada, 18-8.
Aram Kedeshian finished with five saves, while Kai Timbadia, Carson Ho and Elliot Oakes each scored twice.
Flintridge Prep recently defeated visiting South Pasadena 15-8 in a nonleague game last Thursday.
Kedeshian racked up 10 saves, while Simonian registered five goals. Morrell tallied three goals, Timbadia and Tolleson each had two goals and Advait Kartik, Nicho Dermovsesian and Oakes each scored once.
The Wolves previously lost a nonleague matchup at Arcadia 25-8 as Tolleson scored four goals.
Simonian, Timbadia, Oakes and Ho each had one goal, Kedeshian made three saves and Oliver Andrews finished with two saves.
Flintridge Prep (4-4 overall) will host St. Francis High in a nonleague game on Friday at 3:30 p.m. before visiting Glendale on Sept. 19.


ST. FRANCIS

The Golden Knights fell to Loyola High in Los Angeles 29-2 in a Mission League game last Thursday. Individual statistics were not reported to the Outlook Valley Sun by the St. Francis coaching staff.
SFHS (0-2 overall) will visit Flintridge Prep for a nonleague game on Friday at 3:30 p.m. before visiting Arcadia on Sept. 12.
