Armenian Classes Open for Elementary Students

The Davidian and Mariamian Education Foundation is offering an Armenian language and culture program to elementary students in La Cañada Flintridge who go to Paradise Canyon, La Cañada or Palm Crest elementary schools.
The program, which began Sept. 5 and will run through May of next year, is held on Tuesdays at the La Cañada Unified School District Office classroom located at 4490 Cornishon Ave. from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
The cost includes a monthly fee which will be refundable and to be determined by DMEF based on enrollment, with a sibling discount available. There is also a nonrefundable, one-time registration and book fee to join.
To sign up, families will need to:

  1. Go to dmef.org.
  2. Click on “Register Online” (top right).
  3. Fill out an application for each student.
  4. Type in school name.
