CCLCF Hosts Annual Thanksgiving Day Run and Food Drive

The Community Center of La Cañada Flintridge is holding their 30th annual Thanksgiving Day Run and Food Drive at Memorial Park on Nov. 23.
The event hosts a 5K run and a Kid’s Mile. Warmup for the adult 5K begins at 8 a.m. with the race beginning at 8:30 a.m. Meanwhile, warmup for the Kid’s Mile, for children 12 and under, begins at 9 a.m. before the 9:30 a.m. start time.
Donations in the form of canned food, pasta, water, grocery store gift cards and other nonperishable foods can be made at Nasa Drop-Bins located at CCLCF and select businesses throughout the area.
Registration is open at CCLCF.org/events/run, and those interested can use the code OUTLOOKTURKEY10 to get $10 off upon signing up.
Volunteers are welcome, and anyone interested in sponsoring the event can visit the website for more details.
