LCF Needs More Electric Car Charging Stations

It has come to my attention that the need for electric car chargers is becoming more and more of a necessity.
The increase in electric vehicles has created a higher demand for charging stations. With this increase, there are currently not enough charging stations for the average user within the city of La Cañada Flintridge. Adding additional areas within the city would serve to benefit our town in several ways, i.e., convenience for the residents with electric cars, being proactive in being compliant with the 2035 California mandate that all new cars sold have zero emissions, and an increase in city revenue.
I would recommend that charging stations be installed on the rooftop parking of the local Target. There is ample parking space that is often unused. This would also encourage people to give their business to the many establishments in Town Center.
Overall, the benefits of these charging stations would help our town in the years to come.
