Sheriff’s Crime Report

A pharmacy was burglarized in the 500 block of Foothill Boulevard on Oct. 3 at 5 a.m. A witness told a deputy that he saw a newer model red Dodge Charger parked in front of the business. Next to the driver’s side of the vehicle he saw a male standing next to it wearing dark clothing. Three other males, also dressed in dark clothing, were seen entering the business through the front entrance. They then ran outside to flee in the red Dodge Charger, which traveled eastbound on Foothill Boulevard toward Gould Avenue. The witness said he did not see if the suspects took any items with them.
When more deputies arrived on the scene, they conducted a protective sweep of the business and found glass from the shattered left front door. In the rear of the building, they observed the glass leading to the pharmacy door, which was also shattered. Nothing in the main part of the business appeared to be disturbed; however, the office, located in the rear of the building, was open with multiple file boxes and paperwork scattered throughout the room.
The store owner arrived on the scene and walked through the store and did an inventory of the items to see if anything was stolen. The deputies walked the owner through the office, and he confirmed that the office was in the condition he had left it prior to leaving for the day. The owner said he did not have any surveillance cameras.
