The Community Center of La Cañada Flintridge is continuing to provide its free speaker series and other events to the surrounding communities.
Organizations are invited to come to the center and discuss various topics to help educate individuals on various topics. In the past, some topics have covered Medicare, oral health, overdoses, financial planning and more.
Registration is required to attend. The schedule of upcoming speaking events are as follows:
Bingo and brunch — Oct. 20, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Retirement planning — Oct. 28, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Senior social — Nov. 2, 10 a.m. to noon
College planning — Nov. 11, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Bingo and brunch — Nov. 17, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Mixed media demonstration — Nov. 15, 4 to 6 p.m.
Belly dancing demonstration and brunch — Nov. 18, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Adult acting demonstration and lunch — Dec. 7, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Film history demonstration and lunch — Dec. 8, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
