The Flintridge Prep varsity 8-man football team shut out host Santa Clarita Christian High of Santa Clarita 46-0 in a nonleague game on Oct. 7.
Senior captain Alex Chorba completed 7 of 9 passes for 147 yards and four touchdowns. Senior captain Noah Willingham rushed for 188 yards on 14 carries with two touchdowns and also returned a kickoff for a 62-yard touchdown.
Sophomore Will Grable made two catches for 60 yards, both resulting in touchdowns, while sophomore Owen Willingham had four receptions for 60 yards with a pair of touchdowns.
Sophomore Mac Peutet contributed with a 27-yard catch, a 7-yard carry and seven tackles on the defensive side. Freshman Milo Shin rushed for 16 yards on five carries, junior John Battaglia had two carries for 11 yards and sophomore Juliet Oberley scored on four extra-point attempts.
On the defensive front, junior Miles Yum and sophomore Nico Chapman each racked up six tackles and a sack. Junior Calvin Chen tallied four tackles, while junior Peter Jordan, sophomore Chris Bae and sophomore Andrew Battaglia each recorded two tackles.
The undefeated Wolves (5-0 overall) will open Prep League action at Windward High in Los Angeles on Oct. 13 at 3 p.m. before visiting Sage Hill High in Newport Beach on Oct. 20.
