Sheriff’s Crime Report

A burglary was reported in the 800 block of Foothill Boulevard on Oct. 13 at 9:45 p.m. An audible alarm activation from an interior door of the business alerted the owner. The owner told officers that he entered the building prior to the deputies’ arrival, finding the wooden door frame damaged and the refrigerator knocked to the floor. No items were missing or stolen inside the business. The unknown suspect had made entry into the neighboring business. Three deputies entered the location to search for any possible suspects, but no suspects were located. They observed several items on the ground, an opened cabinet door and ransacked drawers. The business owner, prior to the burglary, exited the business and locked the doors, leaving the location around 5:30 p.m. The deputies searched the area for CCTV cameras and located some in the north, east and south exterior area of the building. Police were unable to obtain any video footage captured by the cameras because no one from the business had access. The deputies determined the point of entry and exit into the business was from the south rear entrance door and saw pry marks on the exterior door frame. A search of the area resulted in no other evidence of burglaries to any other businesses.

A burglary was reported in the 800 block of Foothill Boulevard between Oct. 12 at 4:30 p.m. and Oct. 14 at 8:30 a.m. The woman who called the station told the deputy that she locked the front door of her business and left around 4:30 p.m. on Oct. 12, and when she came back on Oct. 14, she discovered that her business’ entrance door had been forcibly opened. Upon entering, the woman found her workspace ransacked. She searched the area and noticed an item had been stolen from her worktable. During the investigation, a deputy said the wooden door frame at the front of the business exhibited signs of damage consistent with the use of an unidentified object. The woman did not have any surveillance cameras installed externally or internally on her business premises. Deputies responded to a burglary alarm call for service on Oct. 13. Due to the adjacent proximity of both burglarized establishments, deputies surmised that the same suspect may have been involved in both incidents.

A robbery was reported in the 900 block of Town Center Drive on Oct. 13 at 2:54 p.m. A deputy contacted an employee who stated that she was in her office watching the security cameras and noticed three females in the store’s liquor section put numerous liquor bottles in shopping bags and shopping carts. The first suspect was described as wearing a white T-shirt and black pants and was approximately 5 feet, 9 inches tall and weighed 160 pounds. The second suspect was wearing a graphic yellow T-shirt and black pants and was approximately 5 feet, 9 inches tall and weighed about 240 pounds. The third suspect was wearing a black T-shirt and gray pants and was approximately 5 feet, 1 inch tall and weighed about 150 pounds. The employee walked to the front of the store and observed the three female suspects walk past the cash register without paying for the items and walk out the store. The first suspect used the shopping cart to push the employee out of the way and kept walking eastbound, and the two other suspects followed. They were then seen entering a silver sedan and driving eastbound on Town Center Drive.
