Wolves Stay Unbeaten, Golden Knights Roll Past Crespi

The Flintridge Prep varsity 8-man football team maintained its undefeated record, securing a 47-34 Prep League victory at Sage Hill High in Newport Beach on Oct. 20.
Wolves senior Noah Willingham punished the Lightning on the ground and in the air.
Willingham rushed for a game-high 382 yards with five touchdowns on 21 carries and also hauled in two catches for 47 yards and a touchdown.
Senior quarterback Alex Chorba completed 7 of 10 passes for 98 yards with two touchdowns. Sophomore Will Grable made three catches for 33 yards, including a touchdown, while also recording 13 tackles and a sack on defense.
Junior John Battaglia had two carries for 11 yards, hauled in a 12-yard catch and amassed 15 tackles on defense. Junior Ray Cabrera had two carries for 8 yards, while sophomore Owen Willingham added a 6-yard catch.
On the defensive end, sophomore Nico Chapman made an impact with eight tackles and three sacks, while junior Miles Yum finished with eight tackles. Seniors Kevin Zhang and Matt Chen each tallied three tackles, junior Josh Roberts contributed with two tackles, and junior Will Jamison and sophomore Andrew Battaglia each had one tackle.
The first-place Wolves (7-0 overall, 2-0 in league) will host Palos Verdes Chadwick for their regular season finale on Oct. 27 at 6 p.m. The CIF Southern Section playoff brackets will be released on Oct. 29 at 1 p.m.

ST. FRANCIS
The St. Francis High School varsity football team posted its sixth consecutive victory after dominating host Crespi High in Encino 42-27 in an Angelus League game on Oct. 20.
Individual statistics were not reported to the Outlook Valley Sun.
The first-place Golden Knights (8-1 overall, 4-0 in league) could win the Angelus League title outright with a victory in their final game of the season.
St. Francis will visit St. Paul High in Santa Fe Springs for their regular-season finale on Oct. 27 at 7 p.m.
The CIF Southern Section playoff brackets will be released on Oct. 29 at 10 a.m.
