Residents Can Rid Their Homes of Bulky Items for Fall

Waste haulers will collect bulky waste set on residents’ curbs free of charge during the week of Nov. 13 on their regularly scheduled pick-up day.
Bulky waste items that are eligible for pick up include chairs, sofas, mattresses, carpets and rugs tied in rolls, appliances, electronic equipment, clothing and tires. Loose items should be boxed, bundled or bagged so that they can be easily handled.
For items that are still usable, residents are encouraged to consider donating them to a local thrift store or charity. Hazardous or toxic items will not be collected.
To find the Household Hazardous Waste event nearest you, call 1 (888) CLEANLA or visit 888CleanLA.com.
