La Cañada High School recently hosted Senior Night, a special football game tradition that honors students and their parents.
Seniors from the band, color guard, cheer and football were the stars of the evening. All of them walked alongside their parents on the field as they were announced to the sea of Spartans cheering them on.
“As parents, this journey started years ago,” said Kellie Klein, mother of LCHS senior Cayden Klein. “It is the culmination of years of youth sports and watching our young boys grow into men. Seeing the life lessons learned from the endless hours of practice, double days, painful injuries and learning how to finish strong. Senior nite was one last chance to leave it all out on the field and showcase their athletic abilities, dedication to one another and commitment to this program. The memories made are forever etched in their hearts and ours. The friendships, camaraderie and brotherhood will never be forgotten. They will always take pride in their time spent being a Spartan football player at LCHS.”
