The La Cañada High School varsity girls’ water polo team lost at Marlborough High in Los Angeles 13-9 in a nonleague game on Nov. 30.
Lilli Perner tallied four goals, Kadyn Day contributed three goals, and Kiley Ku and Alexis Calix each scored one goal.
The Spartans (0-2 overall) will host Pasadena Polytechnic for a nonleague game on Dec. 7 at 4 p.m. before opening Rio Hondo League action against visiting San Marino on Dec. 12.
FLINTRIDGE SACRED HEART
The Tologs recently competed in the Troy Tournament and finished with a 2-2 record. FSHA secured a pair of wins against Glendora, 15-7, and San Dimas, 14-6, while suffering losses against California High of Whittier, 12-10, and Centennial High of Corona, 13-10.
The Tologs posted a 14-5 nonleague victory over visiting Flintridge Prep on Nov. 29. Individual statistics were not reported to the Outlook Valley Sun.
Flintridge Sacred Heart (6-2) will open Mission League action at Sherman Oaks Notre Dame on Jan. 4 at 4 p.m. before visiting Marlborough High in Los Angeles on Jan. 9.
FLINTRIDGE PREP
The Wolves suffered a 14-5 nonleague loss at Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy on Nov. 29; individual statistics were not reported to the Outlook Valley Sun.
Flintridge Prep will host Westridge School of Pasadena for a Prep League match on Dec. 12 at 3:30 p.m. before visiting Mayfield Senior of Pasadena on Jan. 9.
