International Space Academy Students Complete Mission

The 2023 International Space Academy program class members recently graduated at JPL’s Von Karman auditorium, where key speaker, author and Yuri’s Night founder Loretta Whitesides helped send off the graduates.
Before closing out this year’s Space Academy, the program’s 10 high school student teams completed their final launch on Nov. 17.
The Space Academy not only exposed students to designing, building and testing for a space mission, but also the aspects of project management, teamwork, connecting with international counterparts and business.
During this 10-week period, the students worked hard and often had to overcome unexpected challenges to successfully execute their launch and conduct their mission.
