Neumeier, Hosford Propel La Cañada in Comeback Victory

The La Cañada High School varsity girls’ soccer team scored three goals in the second half to secure a 3-2 come-from-behind nonleague victory at Maranatha High in Pasadena on Dec. 11. Samantha Neumeier scored a pair of goals, while Samantha Hosford recorded one goal.
The Spartans shut out visiting Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy 2-0 in a nonleague match on Dec. 7. Mathilde Ayoub and Hosford each tallied one goal, while Neumeier was credited with a pair of assists.
LCHS (7-1 overall) will visit South Pasadena for a Rio Hondo League game on Dec. 15 at 4 p.m. before hosting Mayfield Senior of Pasadena on Jan. 8.

FLINTRIDGE SACRED HEART

Flintridge Sacred Heart Academys Seren Mah y Busch and the Tologs tied visiting Mayfield Senior in a nonleague match on Dec 5

The Tologs lost at La Cañada 2-0 in a nonleague match on Dec. 7.
FSHA tied visiting Mayfield Senior 4-4 in a nonleague contest on Dec. 5. Individual statistics were not reported to the Outlook Valley Sun.
Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy (2-2-1) will compete in the Pirate Cup Tournament beginnin Dec. 27 and concluding Dec. 30 before opening Mission League action against visiting Sierra Canyon High of Chatsworth on Jan. 3.

FLINTRIDGE PREP
The Wolves blanked Highland High of Palmdale 2-0 in a Best in the West Tournament game on Dec. 9.
Seniors Zaria Echemendia and Stella Smit each scored one goal, freshman Avery McCormack was credited with a pair of assists, and sophomore Valentina Ronga tallied one save.
Flintridge Prep opened tournament action with a 1-0 victory over Grand Terrace on Dec. 9. Junior Valentina Mancilla recorded one goal, junior Celeste Davila had one assist and Ronga had one save.
The Wolves opened the regular season with a 1-0 loss at San Marino on Dec. 5.
Flintridge Prep (2-1) will visit Grace High in Simi Valley for a nonleague game on Dec. 15 at 3:30 p.m. before visiting Temple City on Dec. 20.
