The La Cañada High School varsity boys’ soccer team shut out host Beverly Hills 1-0 in a nonleague matchup on Dec. 7.
The Spartans suffered a 3-1 nonleague loss at Westlake High in Westlake Village on Dec. 6. Individual statistics were not reported to the Outlook Valley Sun.
LCHS (4-1-1 overall) will host South Pasadena for a Rio Hondo League game on Dec. 15 at 4 p.m. before hosting Flintridge Prep on Dec. 20.
ST. FRANCIS
The Golden Knights lost to visiting Palos Verdes High of the Palos Verdes Estates 4-1 in a nonleague game on Dec. 9.
Junior Alex Hartley recorded one goal, senior Michael McCarthy tallied one assist and freshman goalie Nshan Manoucherian finished with six saves.
St. Francis lost at Cathedral High in Los Angeles 6-2 in a nonleague match on Dec. 6. McCarthy scored a pair of goals, while Manoucherian had 11 saves.
The Golden Knights (2-2-1) will visit Alemany High in Mission Hills for a Mission League match on Dec. 15 before battling Citrus Hill of Perris in a Winter Classic Tournament game on Dec. 27.
FLINTRIDGE PREP
The Wolves lost at Duarte 3-1 in a nonleague game on Dec. 7.
Flintridge Prep posted a convincing 5-2 nonleague victory over visiting La Salle College Preparatory on Dec. 5.
Flintridge Prep (1-3) will visit La Cañada for a nonleague match on Dec. 20 at 5 p.m. before visiting Providence High in Burbank for a Prep League match on Jan. 10.
