The La Cañada High School Instrumental Music Department recently presented the Winter Spectacular in the LCHS Auditorium, where there were performances from the Advanced Orchestra, Symphonic Band, 7/8 Concert Band, 7/8 String Orchestra, Elementary Honor Band and Orchestra, and Jazz Band.
The production was led by Director of Music Jason Stone, Orchestra Director Jennifer Munday and 7/8 Band and Orchestra Director Amanda Svetich. Also conducting that evening were seniors Owen Mercer and Micah Ruan for the 7/8 Concert Band.
The program included a variety of songs, including “Sleigh Ride,” “How the Grinch Stole Christmas,” and the holiday staple, “All I Want for Christmas Is You.”
