The La Cañada High School varsity boys’ soccer team shut out host South Pasadena 3-0 in a Rio Hondo League match on Jan. 24 before picking up a 4-2 victory over visiting Monrovia on Jan. 26. Individual statistics were not reported to the Outlook Valley Sun.
The Spartans (10-3-2 overall, 5-2-1 in league) will visit San Marino for their regular-season finale on Feb. 1 at 4 p.m. The CIF Southern Section playoff brackets will be released on Feb. 3 at 10 a.m.
FLINTRIDGE PREP
The Wolves secured a 5-2 nonleague victory at San Marino on Jan. 27.
Senior Rafi Fermanian chipped in two goals, while senior Leo Ferry, sophomore Jonah Rose and sophomore William Krause each scored one goal.
Flintridge Prep picked up a narrow 2-1 Prep League victory over visiting Palos Verdes Chadwick on Jan. 25 as freshman Ethan Rudzinski and Fermanian each finished with one goal.
The Wolves tied visiting Pasadena Polytechnic 1-1 in a league match on Jan. 24, as Fermanian recorded one goal.

ST. FRANCIS
The Golden Knights suffered a pair of Mission League losses on the road. St. Francis lost to Loyola High in Los Angeles, 4-2, on Jan. 24, and fell to Harvard-Westlake High in Studio City, 2-1, on Jan. 26. Individual statistics were not reported to the Outlook Valley Sun.
St. Francis (7-10-3, 4-6-2) visited Chaminade High in West Hills for its regular-season finale on Jan. 31; the league match ended after the Outlook Valley Sun’s press deadline and will be included in next week’s issue. The CIF Southern Section playoff brackets will be released on Feb. 3 at 10 a.m.
