La Cañada Elementary School students in Stephanie Hernandez’ class recently finished reading and discussing the “Island of the Blue Dolphins.”
It provided them with an understanding how the main character survived and found solace among the animals on the island.
Students made colorful tissue paper mosaics of one of the favorite scene from the book and added a quote they found to be most inspirational.
