La Cañada Flintridge Opens Applications for Youth Council

The city of La Cañada Flintridge is seeking applications for its Youth Council, the official advisory board representing the voice of the youth in the city.
The Youth Council consists of nine members aged 14-19 years old. Five at large members are appointed to serve one-year or two-year terms and must be LCF residents. Four school representative members are appointed by the four high schools in the city to serve one-year terms. The following schools select one representative each: Flintridge Preparatory School, La Cañada High School, Sacred Heart Academy and St. Francis High School.
An application must be submitted no later than 5 p.m. on Friday, March 15, via email to the City Clerk at tgarcia@lcf.ca.gov. Applications can be obtained online by visiting CityOfLCF.org/City-Clerk/Commissions-Boards-Committees.
The City Council is tentatively scheduled to make council appointments at its regular meeting on Tuesday, May 21. For more information on the program, contact the office of the city clerk at (818) 790-8880 or visit CityOfLCF.org.
