LCUSD Welcoming Residents for Coffee and Conversations

La Cañada Flintridge residents will have the opportunity to join members of the LCUSD Governing Board and Superintendent Wendy Sinnette for coffee and conversation.
The Governing Board will be holding several coffee-related events throughout March in an effort to improve communication, access and availability.
Sinnette and Governing Board President Josh Epstein will be present at each event, along with a rotating Governing Board member. The community is invited to attend any of the coffees. They are not assigned to a school community by site, according to a press release.
The dates, times, locations and participants are:

  • Monday, March 11, 9:15 to 10:45 a.m. at the LCE cafeteria with Epstein, Sinnette and Dan Jeffries
  • Tuesday, March 19, 6:30 to 8 p.m. at PCY in the MPR with Epstein, Sinnette and Octavia Thuss
  • Tuesday, March 26, 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the LCHS College and Career Center with Epstein, Sinnette and Joe Radabaugh
“Please join us for coffee and conversation without an agenda,” according to a district press release. “We simply want to hear from you regarding any issues, concerns, or hopes you may have for LCUSD and your child(ren)’s school(s). We hope you will be able to attend.”

First published in the March 7 print issue of the Outlook Valley Sun.
