Sheriff’s Crime Report

A petty theft was reported in the 2100 block of Foothill Boulevard on March 4 between 3:30 p.m. and 3:40 p.m. The victim told the deputy that an unknown person entered her unlocked vehicle that was parked in the Joann Fabrics and Crafts parking lot and stole her purse, which was in the front passenger seat. Since the victim’s door vehicle locks don’t work properly, she left her vehicle unlocked and noticed her purse was missing as she drove away from the store. The deputy checked for any video surveillance cameras or witnesses at the store, but was unsuccessful.

A man wearing a dark-colored baseball cap, shirt and pants vandalized Rocket, a business in the 1000 block of Foothill Boulevard, on March 6 between 6 a.m. and 6:10 a.m. An employee witnessed the man walk into the property and start throwing items toward propane tanks. He then walked in the direction of the air compressor and grabbed the electrical box on the bottom and removed it from the ground. The man then ran from the property toward Foothill Boulevard and out of view. No surveillance cameras or additional witnesses were found.
