LCPC Parent Ed Offers ‘Art of Fatherhood’

Registration is open for the highly popular “The Art of Fatherhood: Fearless Fatherhood Through Authentic Identity” and is offered to dads through La Cañada Presbyterian Church’s Parent Education Program.
This four-week Parent Express class will meet on Wednesday nights from 7-8:30 p.m. From April 10 to May 1 (with an optional dinner served at 6:15), and is open to all dads, regardless of their children’s ages.
One participant noted, “The Art of Fatherhood is a great place to come hang out with other dads who are experiencing the same things you are. You pick up some really insightful tips on marriage and family.”
Led by Matt Allen, Ron Chiu, Robert Cha and David Lamb, this unique parenting class for fathers goes beyond diapering and schedules. The class delves into the heart of what it means to be a dad, equipping fathers with the tools to embrace their true identity and translate it into fearless fatherhood. The curriculum for the class is inspired by Jamie Winship’s book “Living Fearless.”
The class will meet in Pastor Chuck Osburn’s backyard in La Cañada Flintridge with the option to arrive at 6:15 p.m. for social time and dinner. The $100 registration fee includes: Four nights of fatherhood support with other dads plus beer, pizza, and a free copy of the book “Living Fearless.”
