La Cañada Presbyterian Church Hosts Easter Weekend Events

La Cañada Presbyterian Church begins Easter weekend on Thursday, March 28, with a 7 p.m. Maundy Thursday worship service, which will take place in the Worship Arts Center.
This contemporary worship service memorializes Jesus’ Last Supper with his disciples before he is betrayed, arrested and ultimately deserted by his followers.
LCPC’s traditional Good Friday service will be Sunday, March 29, at 7 p.m. in the sanctuary to retell the story of Jesus’ crucifixion and death on the cross. The service ends in darkness and silence.
Holy Week culminates with joyous celebrations on Easter Sunday, March 31. LCPC is offering four worship services that morning celebrating Jesus’ resurrection.
Easter worship will be offered at 6:30 a.m. at Memorial Park (1301 Foothill Blvd.), 8 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. traditional worship in the sanctuary. At 11 a.m., there will be contemporary worship in the Worship Arts Center on LCPC campus at 626 Foothill Blvd.
Family-friendly overflow will be available for the 9:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. services. Students in sixth grade and younger are invited to participate in an egg hunt after the 9:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. services. Children will be divided into two separate hunts based on age; all participants will get a goody bag filled with candy and prizes to take home.
All services held on LCPC campus will also be livestreamed at: live.lacanadapc.org. For more information, visit lacanadapc.org.
