Spartan Community Basketball Holds Title Games

Spartan Community Basketball, a youth not-for-profit recreational league run by local volunteers, held its “Championship Monday” games on March 4. The league’s goal is to promote self-confidence, sportsmanship, discipline, effort and teamwork.
“We look to serve as many young people as possible from La Cañada Flintridge and surrounding communities, and to foster a love of fitness and basketball,” a league spokesperson said.

Boys Grades 3-4 Champs: Greyson Alexander, Austen Cheng, Harrison Fine, Jeffrey Hannah, Xachary Jefferon, Martin Lee, Arav Manchandia, Drew Parille, Tate Richards and Ansel Ryan with coaches Mike Richards and Dan Alexander
Boys Grades 5-6 Champs: Calvin Berkes, Parker Jones, Aston Lee, Kai Lee, Glendin Martin, Angus McKinnon, Jared Pastor, Aiden Sookossian, Graham Soloman and Andrew Tatevossian with coaches CY Lee and Manny Pastor
Boys Grades 7-8 Champs: Jake Bell, Kaihann Hashimi, Kaleb Lee, Preston McLaughlin, Benjamin and Logan Miller, Liam Regan, Matheson Rocca and Sam Wilson with coaches Matt Rocca and Lacey Leone McLaughlin
