Boys’ Lacrosse: Golden Knights Make Early CIF Exit

The St. Francis High School varsity boys’ lacrosse team lost at Westlake High in Westlake Village 16-8 in its CIF Southern Section Division I opener on May 1.
Junior Carlo Binda racked up 25 saves, while junior Axel Gonzalez finished with three goals and three ground balls. Junior Eric Garbo registered two goals and two ground balls, while senior Jayden Siques and junior Myles Henry each produced two ground balls and one goal. Junior Ezekiel Peraza contributed two ground balls and one assist, while freshman Kaden Wiebe was credited with one goal and one assist. Freshman Dawson Henry collected four ground balls, while senior Ryan James finished with three ground balls. Senior Joseph Sonner, junior Isaac Fajardo and sophomore Dexter Sohn each tallied two ground balls, while senior Aidan Heberger, senior Dustin Bell, junior Carter Randall, junior Koji Inaba and sophomore Quinn Montenegro each had one ground ball.
The Golden Knights finished the campaign second in the Mission League with a 5-1 record (14-8 overall).
