Seventh- and 8th-graders in the Assistance League of Flintridge’s science, medicine and biotech class taught by Patty Morgan, are learning there are no limits in this field. Students have become familiar with using specialized equipment, such as micro pipettes, as well as learning lab safety. To explore cell activity and bacteria behavior, they have to set up petri dishes and buffers for gels. Every answered question inevitably leads them to one more unanswered question.
