Cougars’ spirits were running high at Paradise Canyon Elementary School’s first spirit rally. Proudly dressed in their Cougar wear, students welcomed new teachers and staff and 1st-graders to their first rally. They were happy to hear their recycling effort last year earned $300, which they donated to the Ronald McDonald House and the Pasadena Human Society. Cougar coupon winners received gifts and the summer readers received a rousing round of applause, especially 6th-grader Jacob Cho, who was PCY’s top summer reader.
