The fifth annual Mr. La Cañada event recently brought out nine young men to show off their talent, model their favorite clothes and join a Q&A session. In the end, La Cañada High School student Anthony Crehan was named Mr. La Cañada.
The event benefits Once Upon a Room, which provides service to children in the hospital who are fighting life-threatening illnesses or acute trauma, often resulting in permanent disabilities and months of medical treatment and extended outpatient care. Jamie Hull, a student at LCHS is founder of the program.
Show hosts were Lexi Shilling and Emma Aitelli. Advisers Marian Price, LCHS Assistant Principal Kip Glazer and Daisy Kim also participated. Glazer remarked that she was very proud of the ASB members and all the time they had put into making this a successful event.
