Anyone wishing to safely dispose of unused, unwanted or expired prescription pills, ointments or drops can do so from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on Saturday, April 28, at any of the following locations: Crescenta-Cañada Family YMCA (1930 Foothill Blvd., La Cañada Flintridge); Verdugo Hills Family YMCA (6840 Foothill Blvd., Tujunga); or Crescenta Valley Family YMCA (3931 Lowell Ave., La Crescenta).
The event is being held in partnership with the Crescenta Valley Sheriff’s Department, the Glendale Police Department, the L.A. Police Department and the Drug Enforcement Administration.
