LCPC Parent Education Program is excited to announce its Summer Family Class is open for registration.
This four-week class will be taught by experienced educator and mom of seven, Nanette Brown. Brown brings a wealth of experience both as a teacher and as a parent to each and every one of her classes.
She strives to foster the bond between parent and child through compassionate and supportive learning environments, utilizing new research on parenting to inform her class discussions. The summer class is offered on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9:30-11:30 a.m. from May 23-June 14. Topics will include “Parent Self Care,” “Breaking Busy,” “Intentional Parenting/Mindful Living,” and “How to Connect with Each of Your Children.” The course costs $80 plus a $20 registration fee. Scholarships and payment plans are available online. Affordable childcare is offered during all class times.
