After reading the leaf blower ban article July 14, I found it interesting the only exceptions would be for “maintenance to the school districts fields as well as medians and public right of way on Foothill Boulevard.” I think the City council should lead by example not by carving out exceptions for their needs. I am sure La Cañada Flintridge homeowners can come up with some reasons why their house needs exceptions too.
If this ban is good, let’s make it the same for all. Lead by example, City Council, and if it is a good plan others will follow.
