Crescenta Valley Sheriff’s deputies responded to burglary reports at the 3900 block of Robin Hill at 9:46 a.m. on Oct. 6. Suspects shattered a glass door and used it as a point of entry. The victim, who is currently out of the country, was only able to identify the loss of a firearm.

A grand theft occurred at a retail store on the 600 block of Foothill Boulevard at 4:25 p.m. on Oct 6. Witnesses observed two female suspects in their early 20s enter the store, and randomly grab clothing and purses from store racks. Once the suspects grabbed all they could carry, they exited the store through the front entrance. No loss prevention employees were on duty at the time.

A new Apple laptop and other miscellaneous items were stolen from a vehicle parked on the 300 block of Foothill Boulevard at about 2 p.m. on Oct. 7. The owner of the vehicle was in a store when an employee informed her that the window of her vehicle had been shattered. Deputies were unable to locate any witnesses of security camera footage in the area.

A man contacted the sheriffs after a catalytic converter was removed from his vehicle at the 900 block of Town Center Drive at about 11:30 a.m. on Oct. 8. Deputies confirmed the missing vehicle part, which is commonly sold for materials, but were unable to locate witnesses or security cameras.
