The St. Francis High School varsity football team dominated in its CIF-SS Division V opener at Silverado High of Victorville with a 48-20 first-round victory last Friday. Individual statistics were not reported to the Outlook Valley Sun.
The Golden Knights (8-3 overall) advanced to the quarterfinals for a second straight season and will host Villa Park (6-5 overall) on Friday, Nov. 11, at 7 p.m.
The winner of Friday’s game will advance to the CIF semifinals and play either Aquinas High of San Bernardino or Bishop Alemany High of Mission Hills next week.
