Palm Crest Elementary School kindergarteners recently invited their parents to a holiday performance and after party.
The occasion was used to teach the students how various cultures celebrate the season in different ways.
The kindergarteners assembled in a group to say hello to their guests in Spanish, Japanese, Chinese Armenian, Hebrew and Hindi. They then sang, “Feliz Navidad,” “Jingle Bells” and “Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer.”
After a standing ovation, they joined their parents to decorate their gingerbread houses. They took home their “self-elf” bags. Everyone had a merry and cheerful time.
