La Cañada High School welcomed the Year of the Rabbit, with festive foods and activities.
Parent volunteers served traditional Chinese dumplings and egg rolls, as well as white and green teas, which students enjoyed sampling. Additionally, traditional Chinese painting, writing and origami was available for the students to try, along with the “Lucky Wheel” game.
LCHS Principal Jim Cartnal and LCHS 7/8 Principal Jarrett Gold with board member Caroline Anderson passed out red envelopes for the special occasion.
The colorful event also included a beautiful dragon dancing through the campus.
