Flintridge Prep Advances to CIF Championship Game

The Flintridge Prep varsity girls’ basketball team defeated host El Dorado High of Placentia, 68-53, in its CIF-Southern Section Division 3AA semifinal game on Saturday.
Senior captain Ashley Chea poured in 24 points while freshman Maddie Smith scored 20 points for the Wolves.
Sophomore Gigi Mastras recorded eight points, junior Kassidy Huie tallied six points and freshman Akemi Fu finished with five points. Junior captain Izzie Chan registered three points while freshman Pressley Huie had two points.
The Wolves defeated host Sunny Hills of Fullerton, 61-44, in a CIF quarterfinal game last Wednesday. Individual statistics were not reported to the Outlook Valley Sun.
Flintridge Prep (28-2 overall) advanced to the CIF championship game and will seek its first title since 2016 when they take on Los Osos High of Rancho Cucamonga (23-4 overall) on Saturday, Feb. 25, at 8 p.m.
