La Cañada High School freshman Thalia Luk plays ice hockey with the Lady Ducks Youth Hockey Club.
Luk has been competing since second grade and she is now in the top tier — Tier I, 14 AAA girls division. Her team recently won the Pacific Division Championship and are now heading to the Tier I USA National Championships in Dallas, Texas, later this month.
The Lady Ducks, ranked among the top 25 in the nation, recently won the Pacific Girls Hockey League in Las Vegas.
