La Cañada Flintridge’s Memorial Park will be jumping with activities on Saturday, April 8, from 10 a.m. to noon for the 26th annual Easter in the Park event.
Dilbeck Real Estate is hopping back in, along with the dedicated assistance of its sales partners, the city, community businesses and individuals throughout the Foothills to sponsor this whimsical community event.
“Easter in the Park is always a family-fun event and a wonderful way to support charities serving our local communities,” said Aram Djagharbekian, Dilbeck La Cañada-Flintridge branch manager.
This year’s festivities will include a “Twinkle Time” children’s show, a hat contest for all ages to bring their handmade bonnets from home, a petting zoo, bounce house, photo booth, bunny raffle and a visit by the Easter Bunny.
An Easter egg hunt has also been organized for children 4 years old and younger, with help from family. Another hunt will be held for children ages 5-7, and a third hunt will be held for children 8-10 years old.
Instead of searching for colored eggs, children will find tokens hidden in the grass. Tokens can be redeemed for bagged candy after each hunt.
The net proceeds from the event will be donated to three charities — Los Altos Auxiliary of the Sycamores, Grandview Foundation and Door of Hope.
