Submissions for visual art, poetry and ceramics are open for La Canada Congregational Church’s second annual Creative Arts Scholarship Awards, with the theme of “Pride and Joy: A Celebration of Community Diversity.”
Area high school and college students are eligible for a $500 award in each category, and students in grades 7 and 8 are eligible for the Emerging Artist Award of $100 in each category.
The deadline for submissions is May 12. Winning work will be featured at the second LCCC Arts Festival and Concert on June 4.
