‘Making Good Choices’ Campaign Deserves Support

The Community Prevention Council is proud to support the LCF Youth Alliance in their communitywide campaign for “Making Good Choices” from April 1 to mid-June, led by Kiara Best and Barrett Jamison from Flintridge Preparatory School, and a team of dedicated students. The students have designed an impactful poster with the tagline “Celebrate Safely,” which will soon be seen all over town.
To complement the poster campaign, the students have assembled a wealth of online resources that can be accessed at docs.google.com/document/d/1z3EULgzssDkhUJWEcxok_ucnSpWwPjHXZcQwFQDS0v8, which provide useful information and tips for making responsible decisions.
In addition, The LCF Youth Alliance has scheduled a community speaker, Dr. Edwin Peck from Huntington Memorial Hospital, on May 9 via Zoom, to discuss the dangers of fentanyl. The event is open to the public and can be registered for at us02web.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_4yIcZU8CRNedEjUTGk-khQ.
The Community Prevention Council is committed to supporting initiatives that promote positive behaviors and healthy lifestyles among our youth. We encourage everyone to help spread the word and support our youth in making good choices. Together, we can make a difference in our community.
